Arrived into the studio on Tuesday morning to record vocals on Memphis but my head was starting to feel all fuzzy and was making things difficult. I decided to man the desk while Martin recorded acoustic guitar on it. I then recorded the trumpet part which I’m not sure if I’ll keep, I’ll decide come the mix.
I decided to have another go with the vocals and after a lot of tea and even more honey I managed to get them down.
I wasn’t up for anymore singing so instead we decided to spend the next few hours composing strings for Roses In The Springtime. This is turning into an epic track….its looking like its going to be about 8 and a half mins long.
